Priest:
...Peter and Juliet have given their consent
and made their marriage vows to each other.

They've declared their marriage by the giving of rings.

I therefore proclaim that they are husband and wife.

Peter:
And you resisted the temptation for surprises.

Mark:
Yeah, I'm mature now.

Singers:
Love, love, love
Love, love, love

Juliet:
Did you do this?

Peter:
Er, no.

Singers:
Love, love, love, love

Singer:
There's nothing you can do
that can't be done

Peter:
Oh, it...

Singer:
There's nothing you can sing
that can't be sung

There's nothing you can say
but you can learn how to play the game
It's easy

All you need is love
All you need is love
All you need is love, love

Slumdog millionaire: My name is Latika

Anna Volkova

,

Believe it or not I love Indian movies. May be it is because in my childhood in Russia on TV we saw only the Soviet Union popularization films or French comedies or Indian films with dancing and singing:) So we have no choice.

The other reason can be that Indian movies are mostly fairy tales with happy end.

But today we can see another India. I am telling about the movie “Slumdog millionaire”. The movie which show us the real India with her slums, poverty and other problems.

Nevertheless it is a great fairy tale about little boy and little girl.

This is the movie scene where Jamal can win the main prize. By the way, in Russia every child know the answer on that question, because of popular Soviet film the "The Three Musketeers":)

Host: In Alexandre Dumas' book, the "The Three Musketeers",
two of the musketeers are called Athos and Porthos.
What was the name of the third Musketeer?

Jamal: I'd like to phone a friend.

Host: You are on your own, Jamal.

Latika: Hello? Hello, Jamal?

Host: I'm guessing that isn't your brother.

This is...

Latika: My name is Latika.

Host: Okay, Latika.
